Ah... I feel great! Not that I'm over Akane. Not by a long shot. But I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and resolved to at least try to be happy. So far, so good.

School certainly isn't helping, though. I like Accounting and Drama, but Biology is, like I thought it would be, a total pain in the ass. At least I'm starting to get aquainted with everybody again. Gene's still cool-but-annoying-as-fuck. Same with Chad. Kayla and Larissa are still really f'ing cute. And then of course there's all the sophomores. Pretty much the people who don't see me as a loser. Yet. Well, with the exception of Genma and Gosunkugi. Yep, they're in high school now. Great fear and confusion enshrouds us all.

I'm probably gonna go to my dad's this weekend. I invited Kuno and Akane, (and one of Akane's friends, if she wants to bring one.) and would have invited Ranma or Thief if they weren't in college, far, far away. My dad says there's going to be a concert at Ole Miss. Probably no one any of us know, but it can't be that bad, right? I mean, as long as the people don't suck.

Well, I started saving. I opened a savings account with a starting balance of $100. What am I saving for, you ask? Simple. I wanna go to Japan! Of course, it'll be rough. Assuming I go on my own, (not with the exchange program), tickets alone would be around $1,000. Which makes it really tough to bring a friend, which was my plan. Kuno's trying to get a job, so he might be able to contribute if he's coming. And I'm sure my dad would help out, too. I do have an ace up my sleeve though.... Fumi. Mr. Fumi. He was our next-door neighbor when we lived in Japan, and apparently my dad has stayed in touch with him. I could dodge a rough $1,000 if he let me and any guests I bring stay with him. That would be so kickass... And, considering the fact it's Japan, we'd need some kind of living, breathing tour guide, and he knows English very well. Man, just thinking about it is maxing out my kickass factor.

I can't wait... it's coming.... I can't wait for SOUL CALIBUR III!! ... I'm not going to spam my journal this time about it, but it looks so awesome! I already have $20 down on it, so they'll call me when it comes in. And, if enough people preorder it, they'll stay open till midnight and do that kind of thing. That ought to be fun...

Speaking of Soul Calibur, I've been thinking....

Siegfried - Heath Ledger

Mitsurugi - Ken Watanabe

Yunsung - Seth Green

Taki - Lucy Liu

Sophitia - Charlize Theron

Voldo - Jim Carrey

Ivy - Natasha Henstridge

Cassandra - Julia Stiles

Astaroth - Ron Perlman

Maxi - Jamie Kennedy

Tira - Rebecca Romijn-Stamos

Well? I could probably come up with some of the other people, too, but I need to go to bed. I'm welcome to suggestions on this, too. Night, all.

Ranma: pimped out Ranma (and Ryoga)[info]ranma_kun on August 24th, 2005 08:19 pm (UTC)
I really can't see Jamie Kennedy as a nunchaku-toting martial artist. Even Maxi Pad shouldn't have be degraded in such a way. And do you really think Jim Carrey has the sheer atheleticism required to be Voldo? I guess he could look like him (he was scary enough when he shaved his head), but I don't see him reverse humping people into the sky. I'd actually imagine they'd CG animate much of Voldo, anyway. And they'd probably get someone like Stone Cold Steve Austin to be Astaroth. Or The Rock. Any wrestler, really. Like Eddie Gordo. Or... whatever his name was.

Rikku should play Astaroth.
